Thrifty Thursdays: Atlanta Activities September 8-14

There is a lot of thrifty fun to be found all over metro Atlanta for kids activities this week, September 8-14. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to check out Old MacDonald’s Farm at the Center for Puppetry Arts before the show closes on September 11. “Halfternoons” at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta begin September 12, which means general admission is half off on weekdays beginning at 2 p.m.

FRIDAY
Buford Corn Maze

This one is OTP for sure, but worth the trip. What better way to get in the mood for fall than with a corn maze?! In September, the maze is open 5-10 p.m. on Fridays, and noon-10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Fun for the whole family – corn maze, hayrides, pony rides, animal viewings, corn box, bounce house and more.

Munchkin Tennis

Munchkin tennis is offered every Monday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. The instructors use backdoor learning techniques and games to teach the children proper stroke form and footwork while keeping the major focus of the class about fun. Appropriate for ages 4-6, no pre-registration required.
