Although we’ve updated the name of this post, I will still bring you my weekly roundup of the best in fun and affordable activities in Atlanta. This week MAMC Thrifty Thursdays October 20-26, offers lots of budget-friendly activities to choose from and as usual, whether you’re inside or outside the Perimeter, you can find something to do all over metro Atlanta. My top picks this week include the 4th annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival in Kennesaw October 21-22 and for ITP mommies, a Halloween-themed barbecue and dog costume contest at Ponce City Market October 25.

Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival at KSU

Boo at the Zoo at Zoo Atlanta

Get in some early trick-or-treating at Zoo Atlanta! This event features the whimsical Zoo Boo Town, an inflatable corn maze and lots of Halloween fun. Halloween BBQ & Doggy Costume Contest
