LegoLand Discovery Center: Phipps Plaza

0

Hi! I am Aryssa and I am almost 2 1/2. This is my trip to Lego Land Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza. Come along with me and i’ll give you the in’s and out’s from my perspective.

The lineI was definitely excited to go, I mean who WOULDN’T be? But of course I had to get through the line first, and my mommy always tells me patience is a virtue, but what does that even mean anyway? Mommy and Daddy assured me that the line was moving quickly but who has time to wait, I wanted to go in now! I did not want to wait my turn. Things started out a little rocky, but quickly got better!

Once we got inside, there was a REALLY neat sculpture and I got my very own Lego piece!

We decided to ride the castle invasion ride first as my first ride ever, buuuuuuuut…it was a little much for me! It was really dark in there and then there was loud music and flashing lights. I started off sitting next to daddy but then when I couldn’t see mommy, I got really upset, doesn’t she know she has to stay in eye contact the ENTIRE time. I won’t do that one again until I get a little older…maybe when im 3!

Lego Toddler Area

I LOVED the huge Lego blocks in the Toddler Area!

I could have played over there for hours and hours and hours, or at least 30 minutes…it was a little hot with the sun streaming in the windows, but i don’t mind a little sweat, playtime can get serious you know. Also, if I bring one of my friends with food allergies, we would need to be extra careful since the snack bar is connected to the Toddler Area. We have to be SO careful around him when we eat, one misplaced Goldfish cracker and he’s headed to the hospital for shots. I am so scared of shots!

There was a lot of stuff to play with you guys! A lot!

The water table was so neat, i really enjoyed it…until Mommy didn’t like that my socks and shoes got all wet. She can be a real fun police sometimes. We watched another little kid slip and fall in the water because he was running, mommy’s don’t like running from what i can tell. They all get so upset and shout at you, “no running”!!! Simmer down moms, it’s playtime!

All the other play areas were super fun too, it reminded me of my playroom at home! I didn’t have to dig through the bins to find toys, some nice person ahead of me had already pulled all the toys out to the floor for me! How great was that? It’s so much easier to find a toy when they are all spread out on the ground you know. I can’t figure out why mommy insists we put them back in the bins all the time, what a waste of time!

Lego Land Play

There was this huge pirate ship climbing thing but mommy wouldn’t let me play on it too much since there were tons of bigger kids running around. I almost got trampled trying to go down the slide when another kid climbed up the wrong way. It scared me and I cried for a few minutes. Of course on the way out we got  to walk through the toy store. I wanted to buy everything and threw a temper tantrum when I couldn’t decide.

I can’t wait to go back and play again! Mommy said we will probably wait until I am a little bit bigger so I can play with more things. I don’t agree. I want to go back tomorrow, and the next day, and the one after that. And you guys, they have BIRTHDAY PARTIES! I really want to come for a birthday party!

Thanks for reading my first review, that was so easy and fun! I might just be the youngest blogger ever. If you liked my review, make sure you enter to win FREE tickets for you and your child below!

*A little note from my mommy: Lego Land has two different pricing structures. One is a scheduled time which tends to be cheaper during non peak hours. The other is an open schedule to come when ever but is a little more expensive. Overall I think I it is fun experience for kids but probably a little older than two.
