This week I made my first video! Check it out at the link above!

Happy DIY Tuesday! This week we are starting to find new things to play outside and one of my favorites is this puffy sidewalk paint! It can also be used inside as a change up from normal finger paints. The best part about this recipe is that it is super washable so clean up is a breeze!

You will need:

Gallon size ziplock bags

Shaving cream

Washable school glue

All purpose flour

Food coloring

First decide how many colors of paint you want to make. I made two because it will take a while for my daughter to use them up. Next take your ziplock bags and place the amounts listed below in each bag. Then seal (very important or you will have a hug mess!) and mix and squish it up! This is a great step for the little ones to help out! Finally cut the tip of the bag very small and squeeze into empty bottles, like plastic ketchup bottles. I couldn’t find any when I was at the store so I reused empty glue bottles! Yay for recycling! Then you are ready to squeeze out your own beautiful drawings! (Or little mountains like my daughter likes to do)

For each color add the following amounts to the bags:

About 1 cup shaving cream ( if you use the gel kind it will take time to puff up so spray in about 1/4-1/2 cup)

1/2 bottle of washable school glue

1/4 cup flour

about 10 drops food coloring

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as we did! After you are done making your beautiful masterpieces, simply take the hose to it and spray it off! It will look like it is going to stain but it does come off I promise, just keep spraying.
