Becoming A Thankful Mother

One of the hardest things to do is to live through the eyes of a child. As a mom I am constantly amazed at how my son lives with a thankful heart and how much joy he has. I realize that sometimes I get so caught up in #momlife that I forget to appreciate the things around me.

As a mother, it is so easy to lose sight of why you are a mom and who you are outside of that label. Most of the time I just want to curl up and cry because mommin’ ain’t easy. During September, I spent time focusing on myself and trying to find who I am. Naturally this month I am focusing on Thankfulness.

So I have dedicated this month to Building a Thankful Heart!

Thankful

Each day I am posting what I am thankful for via Facebook and Instagram. My goal is to find something to be thankful for even during the parental chaos. Join me online for #thankfulnovember and share what you are thankful for as well with #MAMC and letting us see who and what you are thankful for.

Raising thankful, mindful, sustainable, and loving children requires the same from the parents.

We are focusing on thankfulness as a family also! A big change is headed our way and I know something big in our hearts has to change along with it. Raising thankful, mindful, sustainable, and loving children requires the same from the parents. We are giving away, selling, or throwing out a lot of our belongings and keeping what we truly find joy in. By simplifying our life we are finding joy as a family and individuals.

All around us are things to be thankful for! Take the challenge and post daily what you are thankful for via social media with #thankfulnovember and #MAMC ! Tag us with what you are thankful for and comment below with the goals you have for your family!
