Now that we’re fully in the swing of holiday preparations and the sun is setting sooner, it may seem like there’s not quite enough time to get everything done. But don’t worry, there are still lots of options to choose from for you and your little ones to have some fun without breaking the bank this week, November 10-16

FRIDAY
Peter and the Starcatcher @ Mabel House Amphitheatre

Tickets are $8 for adults and free for children 12 and under
Head OTP to the Mabel House Amphitheatre for a special showing of the Tony award winning Peter and the Starcatcher, which upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). Tickets will be available at the door, but can also be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or at The Mable House Art Center, or the Amphitheatre Box Office. Georgia Veteran’s Day Parade – Downtown

Atlanta is home to the Nation’s largest Veterans Day Parade and annual Freedom Ball, promoting the truth that freedom is not free and exhibiting the belief of freedom through service. The parade will start in Downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. and proceed south on Peachtree Street, turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park, The World of Coca Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. The parade will end at the intersection of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street. For more info click here.

The theme for this month is Thankful. Toddlers and preschoolers learn how the Smith Family Farm readies for the Thanksgiving holiday. Visit our turkeys and chickens, participate in weaving and help out in the open hearth kitchen.
